La musique cinématique
Corvius is an emerging music band, operating as cinematic symphonic metal.
It is composed of 2 fixed members, and several other intermittent members. The storytelling of their group is based on a concept of a post-apocalyptic future.
Mercenaries set out to conquer space with the crew of a ship called the Antares.
Their objective is to discover the mysteries of the universe and alternative truths.
To be seen and remembered by their target, the first step is to create a logo.
The idea was to bring out these key words: science fiction, future, space. With an obligation to use a crop circle.
Instead of sticking to the usual identities of metal bands (flames, gothic letters, etc), I preferred to start with a more refined identity for a more “cinematic” effect.
This also ensures the durability of the design.
Once the logo was finished, it had to be firmly rooted in reality.
To do so, I created banners for social networks, as well as Spotify and other music platforms. But I also created mock-ups for merchandising and other objects (album covers, posters, tshirts, badges, etc.).
The last step was to develop a site, so that users could find all the information about the group.
This includes the latest featured clip, a discography with links to Spotify, a biography of the founders, etc.
